A Researcher With Roots in the Work
My great-great-grandfather Defendente Bianchi left Piemonte in the late 1800s, found work as a cook at the Hotel Astor in New York City, and married an Irish immigrant named Alice Barrett. That single thread, one man, one ocean crossing, one unlikely marriage, launched a research obsession that eventually became this practice.
Tracing my own lines from northern Italy to Norman England taught me that every family has a story worth finding. With over two decades of research experience, I bring the same rigor and care to your family that I brought to mine.
